Drenec is a 1960s ice-proof Dutch trawler converted into a luxury expedition boat. She has been circumnavigating around the globe since 1986, when she was repurposed as an expedition yacht, and then underwent another full refit in 2012.Both comfortable and strongly built, Drenec provides a great feeling of safety for family or friends who wish to discover the quiet and secluded Mergui archipelago of Burma.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES
Drenec can accommodate up to 12 guests in her 5 comfortable, hotel-style cabins – each ones fitted with a flat-screen TV. The layout comprises four double cabins and one twin cabin; all of which lead to ensuite bathrooms. Her elegant interiors were entirely renovated in 2012 and are fully air-conditioned.
The galley is equipped according to professional standards and food is catered to suit guests’ preferences with a selection of western and Asian delicacies.Meals can be served al fresco on the upper deck or in an indoor lounge.
Drenec’s classic exterior features 3 deck levels including a sheltered aft dining area on the upper deck and a sunbathing top deck fitted with Burmese teak.
